Our Process
Consultation – The Menold remodeling experience begins with a no-obligation in-home visit from a Menold Project manager who spends some time learning about your project objectives, budget and time frame.
Cost & Value – We will work with you to establish your budget and then design your project to get the most value for every dollar you spend. You will control the ultimate cost of your project.
Design Development – A Menold Designer will visit with you to understand your personal style and vision, and then will develop preliminary designs.
Design Approval – You will be invited to view the preliminary designs at the Menold Design Center, where your project can be seen in computerized, 3-D color renderings with virtual tours. Some changes in the plans with resultant pricing alterations can be made on the spot, often dramatically reducing the time needed for the design/pricing cycle.
Product Selection – In order to simplify product selection, Menold offers The Avenue, a 3500 square foot selection center and showroom. In this single retail setting, you can view and select from an array of almost all the products you will need – including custom and semi-custom cabinetry, appliances and countertops of all types, carpet, hardwood flooring and tile, plumbing fixtures and much more.
Pre-construction – A pre-construction meeting is scheduled with you and, at this point, one of Menold’s experienced Lead Carpenters is assigned to your project.
Construction – Your Lead Carpenter will perform as an on-site project manager, complete all general carpentry on the job, and serve as your liaison – someone who can answer questions and provide updates on a daily basis.
Quality Assurance – Menold uses GuildQuality, a highly reputable, independent agency to collect customer feedback at the end of each remodeling project. GuildQuality then compares the responses in 14 categories to the best remodeling companies in the United States, helping Menold to track and fine-tune its ability to meet and exceed customer expectations.
